bKash offers sending money to five numbers without any charge
From now on, BKash customers can send money to five favorites (Priyo) bKash numbers without any charge, said a press release.
Fifty million bKash users can send up to Tk 25,000 every month free of charge through the bKash app or by dialing the USSD code *247#.
A recent analysis on MFS transactions shows that almost 90% of customers ‘Send Money’ to a maximum of 5 persons and up to Tk 25,000 in a month.
Hence, bKash has come up with this initiative to further ease transactions for its customers, especially for the marginal people.
Any customer can add a maximum of five customer accounts as ‘Priyo numbers’ in his/her bKash account in every calendar month. Once added, the Priyo numbers can be changed after each month.
However, in the case of sending money above Tk 25,000 per month, Tk 5 charge on each transaction will be applicable and for any amount above 50,000 Taka, Tk10 charge on each transaction will be applicable for customers.
